on the rare occasion that i actually do critique someones work, it's not something i hate and i wouldn't openly hate on it.
i just give simple thoughts on what i think is wrong with the picture (example: the horn looks like a balloon)

They are both right its just .Atlas said it in a way that is overly hostile. I could care less what red black OC ponies are doing, ironically that description includes the villain from the first episode, but that picture looks so much like a bunch of other ones. Eventually people get tired of a million pony clones with the same false title "Original" character.

Not to sound condescending but I have a very good reason to be hostile about. It's about giving the artist, and usually the creator of the OC, a chance to better themselves instead of saying "Ew god how generic and crappy". Everyone has to start at some point, I suppose Regulith forgot that.

Just because it's new doesn't mean it's good, & most people want their OC how they want, which leaves the OC as is, & this is a common case, because "Why should I make MY creation into what YOU like?"

This is at least MY reason for just skipping constructive criticism & going straight for ewgaywtf.
