I don't know, why can't we have a Rainbow Dash centered episode that doesn't involve 15 minutes of flying and massive ego sandwich?

And why do the Wonder Bolts have an academy in the first place? They have this military style training program when they're just six ponies who... Fly around really fast and never really accomplish anything but have been idolized by the public. I just don't get it.

And what's with the ending? It was basically decided that Lighting Dust's feelings don't matter then RD flies off and probably the events of this episode will never be spoken of again.

To be fair, they moved most of the ego to the pegasus Trixie.

Also, I found Spitfire's voice to be very distracting.
