Regulith do you have any tips for a noobie trying to get into drawing pones?

learn what makes up a pony, use plenty of references, practice a lot

don't jump into poses that are too complex right away or you'll get discouraged, just start with standard standing poses or even just the head (I did the latter)

I've found that this, this, and this provide a lot of good views and tips for beginners, they're from an album that unfortunately I can't post due to naughty bits, but those should stop you from being too overwhelmed

I know, sketching is getting loads easier for ponies, but I am talking in general. Lineart is just tracing, and with line smoothing and the proper layer techniques, it gets done in 10 minutes or less (depending on amount of content).

Nah, its just the way I do it. I've learned how to draw stuff the hard way, Im sure there are a lot cleaner and better lineart techniques than what I'm doing.
