FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
This better be fake.

Entirely different show. You don't have to watch it lol

i'm actually looking forward to this

it can be quite good if they pull it off

its highly unlikely, but stuffs not looking too good anyways

expected, and i really don't care.

"set to air this spring"
it shouldn't even be announced till june according to the CEO

i'm still hoping the movie isn't related to it

I hate it when the good names of my favorite characters are soiled by garbage such as that.
you can make that call for yourself
...forget.
I hope this particular spin-off crashes and burns. Maybe then Hasbro will realize that there are lines that should not be crossed.

Wait, so which spring are we talking about here, besides the one that's throwing stuff at the fan?

Really interested in the character designs and how the personalities and quarks will hold over.

in all honesty, i'll probably watch the first episode to see just this.
i doubt it'll hold though, the same production team simply can't work on both FIM and EG. it's too much work, so i doubt it'll be as good

Lyra better take twilight's spot.

"Fastest runner in all of Liberty High."

I assume then that Hasbro is getting a less scrupulous set of directors for the new show.
I'm pretty sure that nobody with a sense of decency would create something as horrendous as this will most likely be.

Well, that and the current production team for FIM is not fond of pony/human crossovers from what I've heard.

Whew.

Honestly, glad this came out. It's a pretty big relief.

The possibility that worried me more was if the movie was the Equestria Girls IP.

But this means the movie is probably going to be completely the show we're familiar with. And I'm happy with that.

As for this series, it's probably not going to be very good. I doubt it will be made by the same production studio or with the same writers, and I doubt it will generally have anywhere near the same level of quality- though I'll be giving the first episode a shot anyway. The amount of times Hasbro animated series that have no rights to be good have surprised me in the last few years is pretty high proportionately.

The important thing is how incredibly easy it will be to ignore. Especially given it's not going to impact the normal show in many ways. Though it'll probably give Hasbro more insight into the popularity of the main show.

And hell, even if it's terrible- new ironic drinking game.

really everything i've said up, haha
the movie could still be EG-related, but we'll find out eventually

also, there needs to be more caped-fluttershy art :c

Quick two hour sketch I did simply because of the need.  May not look too good (especially her eyes; not used to drawing them), but hey I tried.
