I still don't accept Princess Sparkle, but I'll gladly accept it unless McCarthy/Hasbro forgets it up even more.
i'm optimistic that she'll be fine
from various things said by lauren and others since then, it seems like it was going to happen anyway. perhaps it didn't happen as she would have done it but the outcome would have likely remained the same. i think they're trying to line it up with her "bible" pitch while adding their own creativity to it (which is fine) and staying within Hasbro's various desires for merchandise/whatnot.
that aside though, i'm hopeful that they're going to use this change to add more to her rather than take away

i'm expecting an overall 4/5 rating in terms of number of episodes thoroughly enjoyed
but if the average is based on seasons, i don't think it will be better than my favorite season but better or equal to the others, so that would be 4/10?
