Wow, I turned my monitor to 16-colour mode, and I could see that image the same way as if I was in 32-bit.

Teach me how to do this on a laptop monitor.

I srsly only know how to do it on XP.

You open up the Display properties, then click the Settings tab.
Click on the "Advanced" button.
Go to the Adapter tab, and click List All Modes.
Scroll to the bottom, go "640x480, 16 colors, Default Refresh".
Click OK.

I don't think i can change to 16 colors on ubuntu.
brb checking.
I can, but i don't wanna change the system config from a loving text editor.
