If you could become a pony... which character would you be?

Nopony.

I mean, how would that even work? Would I just take on their physical characteristics or would I gain their thoughts and memories as well? Would I even know who I "used to be" and be able to enjoy the experience, or would I lose all memories of who I was and be overtaken by that pony's mind? Would I just look like that pony and have to deal with those awkward moments where I don't know what the pony I am should be doing or who my friends are? Would I become a copy and have to evade my original? We've all seen that episode of [cartoon], folks. It never turns out well.

Whatever the case, no thanks. Doesn't sound fun to me.

I think Reg put too much thought into that question :I

I'm finally completely combing over that site with all the TF2 pony mods, there's not as much good stuff as I'd hoped but there are a few gems like these:

Flare Gun/Detonator firing sound

Detonator explosion sound

Not to mention some subtle skins here and there like the Lyra Shotgun

I think Reg put too much thought into that question :I

It all boils down to two main things really:

* I keep my mind/the pony's mind is added to mine, but I take over that poor pony's life
* I lose my mind, and won't be around to enjoy my pony-ness

And I don't like the thought of either of them

I didn't spend much time on that at all, thought of all the things I posted before within seconds of seeing the question

Wait I just had a thought, if you took over it's life would it take over yours? :O

HURRY has died

Oh, it seems MLP has the Weird Al Effect
Quote from: TV Tropes
My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic has featured a couple of Stephen Sondheim songs with new lyrics. The target audience is almost certain never to have heard the original versions of these songs before (and for that matter, neither might many of the Periphery Demographic fans), meaning that, as far as they know, these songs are the originals.

"Art of the Dress" is based on "Putting it Together."
"At the Gala" is based on another Sondheim musical number, "Ever After" from Into the Woods — which, if you know the context, fits perfectly with the "subverted Cinderella" theme.
Though less obvious than the previous two examples, it's been stated that "Find a Pet" was inspired by "Fabulous Places" from the 1967 Doctor Dolittle film

RAINBOW DASH!

I understand him completely. I'm not even thinking too far into it, I can't even answer the question without knowing what it actually means to just become an already existing pony.

Easy, myself as a pony. I'd then be able to see all of my favorite characters.

I sort of completely agree with Regulith here.

Easy, myself as a pony. I'd then be able to see all of my favorite characters.

This.

One word.

Rarity.

That is all.

Easy, myself as a pony. I'd then be able to see all of my favorite characters.

That reminds me. I really ought to post my pony that I made using that pony creator on Deviant Art.
