went down memory lane for a bit, eventually found out the reason I gave this show a chance was because zookuw posted a youtube video with a scene from "Party of One" (specifically, Pinkamena's tea-party). six days later, I watched the pilot.

origins are fun.
now for a timeline!

February 17 - First time I heard of the show.

March 01 - New topic, saw first 10-seconds intro of pilot then turned off.

April 14 - Saw "Myskinsoft Pony Remover" for the first time (first interest pique?)

May 02 - Saw Pinkamena's tea-party scene from "Party of One" (final interest pique)
May 08 - Watched the pilot, the rest is history.

I think I started watching this show around Nov 2010. I'd get in a skype call with some buds and watch the episodes together.

i really hope the next time we see Luna, she drops the old-style english. it doesn't fit, and when we first saw her she didn't speak in that way either.

no "We are sorry! We missed thou so much(eth?) big sister!", simple "I'm so sorry! I missed you so much big sister!"
it still doesn't make sense that she started to speak like that in Luna Eclipsed, she had fully recovered, which took time, and obviously spent most of that time with Celestia (who uses modern-english)

if they used that language in the past, she would have picked up on most of the modern language within the time between the two seasons.
