Nothing at all. The show was meant for girls of younger age, but hasbro saw it's potential with the bronies and even mentioned them in a related song [official song]. It has nothing to do with being gay. Rainbows are a natural phenomenon. They are a breaking of light caused by raindrops functioning as miniprisms. homoloveuals have no right to claim it as their symbol, but society mainly accepted it.
