Why is it called clopping in the first place? The reason fapping is called that is because it's an onomatopoeia for when the hand hits the skin at the base. Clop is just the sound they make when they're walking on a stone/concrete road (or the sound of two coconut shells being hit together).

Because hooves make clopping sounds and ponies wanted their own masturbating term. If you take two coconut shells and make the sound clop clop clop it sounds like love, kind of.
