Derpy Hooves has something called Strabismus. The problem with this is that it can deteriorate eyesight if left unchecked. Basically she should of had an eye operation to correct the eye muscles. Then depending on the case after that, she should wear glasses for the rest of her life.

The operation however can only be done at a young age while the brain is still developing.
