Ponies on the other hand praise the show's motto "friendship is magic", so if you actually insult them they really will just say "ok, can you leave the thread now" instead of screaming "TROLL OMG FURSECUTION" like furries do.

Not at all.  If you look closely at their behavioral patterns, ponies tend to keep themselves more secluded in their own thread.  However, furries tend to just go forgetin' everywhere with their yiffing.
