I'm no expert in business or programming, but what happened with Notch? The stuff he gets coded in a month he used to be able to do in a couple of weeks.

He spent 2 days making a different game for some dumb competition when he could be working on the update. Now 1.8 will take 2 more days :(

also, they don't choose when the show airs, HUB does.
so the episode could be done now for all we know, considering they already bought out all of the timeslots up until that september day.

most likely they finished the first two episodes days ago, they were just waiting for Hub to choose a time slot and announce it
