So I used my free time to re-watch Griffon the Brush Off.
And to me, the ending seems half-assed.
I mean, it feels like Lauren just needed some way to shave some time off the end of the episode or didn't want to deal with having another character in the series, so she just "killed her off" in a way.

Then again, she could easily have Gilda reappear later in Season 2. Friendship Lesson would be quite obvious as well: Lern2forgive&forget

Discord was a cool character, everything about him was great, especially his voice. It's a shame he's a glorified lawn ornament now.
