Dwarf Fortress is perhaps the hardest game to learn in history, probably due to the UI (or lack thereof). The 4X game Aurora shares that award as well.

Dwarf Fortress 2 will be intelligent enough to program itself, design and build a rocket, then launch it to space with full packages of the game installed on hyper-efficient supercomputers, designed and built by it.

Yes.

As a matter of fact, there is a pony mod for Dwarf Fortress. With a bit of knowledge on (surprisingly easy) modding of DF you could add a caste of alicorns. One of the issues would be 2 of the "mortal" races breeding and giving birth to an alicorn, since DF's caste system isn't set up to handle different races as part of the same creature.
