I'm curious about this. That twitter post makes me wonder if it was talking about the upcoming episode, or an episode they recently finished (which would be a season 3 episode), but I'll assume the upcoming episode.

if you think about it, we don't know how far they are into season three (episode-wise). we started season two back in september, it is now decemeber and the 11th episode is supposedly a christmas episode.

season three will have 12-15 episodes, if I recall, to start with. depending on when they air season three (which could be anywhere from summer to fall), they could stretch it out until christmas like they have done with season two. that is, if they have a christmas episode in season three at all.

I'm going with next weeks episode, but it is still all up in the air right now.
Regardless of when it occurs, Pinkie singing a christmas song outta be fun. c:
