Now that I'm finished with Season 1 I'm cracking down on Season 2, which, well...TBH I hadn't even touched before now and was running on pure fandom to piece together what's been going on *cough*



But I just finished Return of Harmony, had to pause the video so I could effectively laugh my ass off when this happened (holy stuff I'm so glad there was an easily findable GIF of this)



It felt pretty stuffty to be so behind, but now I'll easily be caught up by next Saturday so hopefully then I can watch the new episode at the same time as everyone else and experience any more Derpy-esque surprises the writers want to throw our way

Me and my sister was in a talk about why Applejack's brother's name is Big Mac. My sister assumed that all the characters' names in the Apple family have to be apple-related. My theory was that it was a little joke the writers made, and made Big Mac's name relate to the Apple COMPANY, the people who made the Mac.

For the most part, they're related to apples. Macintosh is a type of apple, Granny Smith is a type of apple, Applejack is actually a type of alcoholic apple beverage, and so on.
