I'm just looking at this philosophically. It's how I do things.

A cutie mark represents your "special talent" or, alternatively, what you're destined to do in life.

Very few people know for sure what that is at your age. Hell, I'm 18 and I can't be certain. I've changed my mind several times in the last 3-4 years, and even though it seems I've finally made up my mind, it's completely subject to change.

You might be thinking to yourself, "I just want this guy to shut up and tell me what my cutie mark should be..." but isn't that similar to what Applebloom was doing in her first episode?
