What if there was a Barney megathread, and someone posted a loveually suggestive picture of an anime girl version of Barney.  

What that be okay because it's Barney? No, because Barney is a show for young children and half-naked anime Barney doesn't belong in the normal Barney thread. It belongs in a thread made for those types of pictures. (loveually suggestive). Such as the "Hot Anime Girls Thread".

you have to take into the account the actual audience and just forget the target audience altogether since little girls aren't even in this thread and it's still pony related.

the majority of the people who actively visit this thread on their own will don't mind the images, or they just adblock them and don't throw a loving fit over it

Well, you have a point. But I just don't like loveual pony images, not that I'm against love or research, but MLP is my childhood and I just would rather not see those characters in such a way. Humanized or not.
