As would pretty much everyone, but there's no logical reason to bring him back (despite logic not being something Discord follows)

I mean think about it, there are basically two possible options:

A. Discord is somehow un-statued and terrorizes Equestria again and is stopped again by the Elements of Harmony, or
B. Discord is somehow un-statued and is suddenly a nice guy and he helps everypony combat some new antagonist (this is so ridiculous it shouldn't even be considered)

At the same time, Discord managed to escape because of the new Elements of Harmony-owners (weakened the power or something like that), as well as the disharmony of the Crusaders during the beginning. (though it could have been the disharmony of others too)

Because of this, he managed to escape. A similar situation could occur, or because of the various problems they had throughout the season it broke the seal again. A second return would be more difficult for them, as he wouldn't be likely to drop his guard again.

B. isn't going to happen, that just kills Discord in every possible way.

Chances of seeing him again are low, but I always hope. Eitherway, I'm thinking we're getting a new antagonist, whether if it's Cadence, Shining Armor, or a new guy. (I just get the feeling one of those two might be the bad guy)
or even worse, an evil-Celestia.
