I believe someone said the probability of those letters appearing randomly was absolutely ridiculous

Took a massive PNG version of a vector, Magic-Wanded the outline, copied it onto a new canvas, cropped it, fixed anything that got messed up when selecting, and sized it down
Aaaaand there goes my worthless internet respect for Ephialtes

To expand upon what Kingdaro said, vector graphics is a type of graphic that uses points to define lines instead of pixels (which are used in bitmap graphics such as our avatars)
This means that if you scale it up to 10,000x10,000, there will be no quality loss
