I always wondered what kind of era Equestria is in, it seems like a mix of medieval (Castles and the way the town is styled) industrial ( trains ) some early 1900's ( I guess Flim and flam's apple juiced thing counts) and some bits of modern era stuff aswell ( Scratch's record player, Radio, some other things I'm forgetting )
