Anybody else have a horrible habit of just reading pages and pages of fan fiction and ignoring the show itself?

I used to read lots of fanfics of the clop grimdark normal variety, but I drifted away from those as I drifted away from the show itself.

I sketched up a ponified version of Maria Brink (lead vocalist for In This Moment)


(haven't cropped it yet, I don't know how much room I'll need for the other ponies/band members)

And it's barely recognizable, so I'm not sure if I should give her a dress and tattoos like she has in this picture.



I'm also unsure of what cutie mark I should give her. It'll probably be a microphone or something like that.

I definitely know that her body color will be blue, because in almost all (save for the one I just posted) pictures of the band, she has a blue dress. And almost all of their album covers have the color blue in it. (blue tree leaves on A Star-Crossed Wastelands's album artwork and the blue bow in Beautiful Tragedy's album artwork)

But I'm not sure what other's the ponified band member's coat colors will be.

So please help me.
