There are no "qualifications" to being a brony, it's all up to you

You don't have to meet certain requirements or do anything special, it's just a label that you can choose to use or not use

I'm not too thrilled with the term personally but I use it simply because it's easier to say "I'm a brony" than "I enjoy My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic"
