The way it loads the emotes, it causes the memory used by Chrome to increase with each refresh. After a while the memory used is quite sizable, so I disabled it.

If you check yourself you may notice it, unless they actually fixed it which in that case I'll gladly use it again.

I'm sure it affects Firefox as well. I'd check myself but I don't feel like installing all of that just to test something.
