okay like seriously, I was going to ignore this but I can't anymore because it's starting to get to me

your definition of "drop shadow" is not actually a drop shadow. it's a black outer glow. I don't give a stuff what GIMP says, your definition of "drop shadow" is not a real drop shadow.

k got that off my chest. continue on.

it looks like a shadow so i'm calling it a drop shadow.

k next time I have photoshop open I will show you the difference between a black glow and a goddamn drop shadow you stubborn little turd.

as long as it looks like a drop shadow i'm still calling it a drop shadow and screenshots from photoshop won't change my mind.

but that's the thing. it doesn't look like a drop shadow. it looks like a black glow, because it is a black glow. it only looks like a drop shadow to you because you don't know what an actual drop shadow is.

i don't see how different a "real drop shadow" could be from, as an example, my avatar, other than being offset a couple pixels down and right and maybe without blur.

is this the kind of "real drop shadow" you speak of? because the "black glow" is basically a drop shadow with a larger radius and zero offset.
