I didn't read the article, so I'm not sure how correct that quote is.
I don't know anything about tv lineups and whatnot, but I'm guessing that's suppose to mean it'll air in summer.

No clue. All we know is that season three will have at least 13 episodes.
It's possible that they finished early or something, assuming it does air in summer.

Here are four possibilities on the table for the future.
1) Season Three is half a season, series ends.
2) Season Three is half a season, Season Four later on.
3) Season Three is a full season, series ends.
4) Season Three is a full season, Season Four later.

Obviously I want the fourth option. With both third and fourth options, it's also possible that Season Three will begin with 13 episodes and later receive the other 13.

They are just possibilities. I'm assuming this is their most profitable generation yet, I don't see why they would end it yet either.

We've known Season Three had at least half a season for quite some time now. The reason we were given was because The Hub wanted to make sure the team was up to the task without Faust and whatnot. Assuming they do fine, I would think they would order the other half.
