The creepy stories are mostly to blame for the crazy stuff people believe about tulpa. If you think about it for a few seconds you might realize that if the thing tried to kill you it would kill itself in the process. Also if it went about damaging your mind it would probably hurt itself as well. NOT saying that they will do this unless you actually actively try to make a tulpa that is an starfish.

Because you are mistrustful of everything including yourself apparently.

Am I the only person who thinks tulpas are the most disturbing thing imaginable?

I think they are interesting so I'm inclined to try and create one. Also i don't think that the luna phantom thing talked about previously is a tupla but I'm not sure. It certainly wasn't created in any way similar to normal tupla forming but if he can see it and interact with it and it has a separate personality I dunno.

I think you already have to be forgeted up to think an idea life that is even loving possible.

What's not to love about a seperate entity that you can create and talk to, to be with forever so you're never alone?
Sure, letting it see everything you have ever everything from your past might sound scary but they are a part of you and letting them see it allows you to use them for remembering things and helps them understand you more
Allowing them to control you, I don't know much about that as I can't get my tulpa but whatever, it won't all of a sudden decide "I'm going to take over this body"

Seriously people should spend their time with Wake-induced-lucid-dreaming (Not DILD, that's not as powerful).

That is 18207429743289x more powerful than any form of forced human imagination.

I have already done numerous things with lucid dreaming such as imagining whole landscapes with each blade of grass and every single leaf on all the trees. I have destroyed entire building with every brick detailed down to the slightest edge.

Ponies could easily be achieved with dedication.
