According to Meet the Pyro, he is insane and delusional. He basically sees everything as sunshine, lollipops and rainbows, including an inflatable unicorn, and some commenters on YouTube believe that it's a reference to My Little Pony, which it loving isn't.

Easily one of my favorite episodes so far lol

never watched one before (i don't enjoy these types of videos), but it was better than expected


at about 9:30+, they seem to go in the direction of rebellion is why everyone likes it
that might be true for some ("i'll watch it for irony's sake"), but in my experience that wasn't the case. i wouldn't say it is the main reason by a long shot.
