Hey, I wonder what'll happen to our little group once the show finishes. Like, will we all split up and never hear from eachother again?
It's not something one can predict with certainty. My thought was that the topic could die within a year of it ending, or perhaps another year or so, but I don't really know. There will still be things to do once the show ends, we will just be out of official content to work with.
However, with official content gone and done, it makes way for every single bit of speculation. Theories, stories, anything. Nothing can stop it at that point. Drawings will still be drawn, fictions will still be written, games and other things will still be made. It mostly depends on why you're here, what you want, and if that still remains once the time comes that the show ends.
Some of us will be done, some will stick around for a bit, and others will stay till it really is over.
As for the fandom itself, I'm not sure if that will ever completely die anytime soon. It could last for decades to come, or end abruptly. The same things apply for each individual, on a much larger scale of many tens of thousands of people. BronyCon has become a thing for the fandom and may likely continue for several years depending on how well it continues to do. The team enjoys us, actresses like Tara love to play with us, it's something that keeps the fire going and could keep it going for many years.
This is a guess, but I don't think the show will end for another year or two. What will really be interesting is when and if they make a fifth generation, and what they do and change to it.
