i don't think it's tribal. for me, i see and associate with more white people than black people, and i'm white, so i immediately think of white people before any other colored folk.
plus, the only character who actually acts (mostly accent) like a black person in the series is zecora


also, i hate it when artists depict the humanized main six as black (this seems common for twilight), because again, they don't act like them so it doesn't really connect

moving on. am i suppose to like it?
it merely doesn't make sense, their personalities and characteristics don't match. stereotypes are irrelevant, though i suppose zecora could be considered a form of african stereotype lol
