Alright, I'll start at the top and move towards the bottom of the pic.

Horn is pointed instead of rounded. Hood doesn't properly cover her head or cast shadows. You didn't erase or go over your undersketch. The left side of her head(from our perspective) should be flattened so it and her eye aren't bulbous. Her muzzle is pointed instead of rounded. Her limbs segments aren't equal. Her stance is awkward. Her tail isn't poofy enough. Her hooves aren't defined and look like white blobs. The shadow could be done better and the entire piece could use some shading to make the shadow fit more. Also I believe she is wearing a unitard under her robes?

If sketchy lines are your style that's fine but i personally would have gone over it before you colored to clean up the lines and made the undersketch invisible. After doing that, I would have crosshatched my shading in. I'm afraid color simple isn't my cup of tea and I think I can invoke the same emotions if not more with just black and white.


If you want I can take your picture and add this all in as visual stuff. Might make it easier, might not.

I'm sorry if it came off as blunt. I always preferred it when people pointed out exactly what needed to be fixed in my artwork instead of sugar coating it. Sorry.

you know, it's kinda funny

my uncle gave me ebay gift cards for like 3 christmases in a row and I always thought "great, I'm never gonna use these things, wtf am I gonna get off ebay"

and yet they might actually provide the boost I need (and if not I've been thinking about buying a SNES so there's that)
