it's on the assumption that the thread would somehow get locked. the statistics center doesn't need a third pony thread
they're not accomplishments
it also makes me feel like i'm cleaning up a cluttered mess
If it doesn't burden anything then it doesn't need to be deleted plus there is lots of "Content" in these threads that could help someone googling something later down the line (I can't come up with any examples but there might be something)
Two pony topics in the stats page is fine because those are "Records" of sorts, it would be stupid to sift through the pages and delete certain topics just because there is another one like it, besides that someone will bump the other topic off soon enough.
