Aced my first college final today. Felt good mang. Had some time so I doodled a bit on the back. My art seems to have gotten better through negligence...

My drawing tablet is almost here.

Some sort of Wacom Bamboo splash tablet I think. Can't really remember the exact name.
Bamboo's are usually pretty reliable. The thing about tablets is you want one that isn't too big and isn't too small, but it's all based on your movement and form.

mine is an outdated wacom bamboo tablet model, MTE-450a, it was roughly the same price ($60)
it's decent but i really want to get something a bit bigger

I feel like I need to do something to contribute to the fandom, but I just can't think of anything good.

Lots of research and practice (like, lots.) Look up stuff like color theory, line control, anatomy, composition, values, and stuff. Some good guides are Sycra, FZD, ctrlPaint, and for pons.
Also look at stuff from various artists (maybe go on some livestreams) to see how they do things.

and here's a pony
