So gentlemen I hear you we're discussing tablets earlier...
May I ask which one would you guys recommend a cost for them? I really want one, drawing with a mouse is a pain ;_;
wacom is the best brand as far as i know, i got mine for $60 but it's not even produced anymore. you'd probably have to find it used nowadays ($48 on amazon).
the cheapest one that wacom currently pumps out is the Bamboo Connect and Splash. they are $80 but it is possible to find them cheaper elsewhere (currently $70 on newegg). according to the specs, they're exactly the same so i'm not entirely sure why they have two under different names and same price. (one review says " the only difference is that Splash includes a copy of ArtRage.")
when you get into more professional hardware, you're going to be paying in the triples or quadruples. no need to go there if you're just starting out or don't plan to get very professional in that area.
all that being said, i probably wouldn't go over $100
i don't even know how people manage to draw good things with a mouse
