Just startedfinished watching S1 ep10.
Parasprites.
I knew that anything that adorable was going to have a horrible twist.
The moment that they started duping in Fluttershy's mane I knew they could be used as a tool for global devastation.
This aint gonna end well, but Pinkie seems to have a plan.

And that parade... seemed a little small. I could swear there were a LOT more parasprites than that in town (probably clipped for ease of animation and whatnot, but still. Continuity bloopers.)
