I was taking a trip back through MLPFFBGV2 history and was going to post what we did on this day one year ago for laughs when I noticed something in what can only be described as a phenomenal coincidence
prior to the week of January 23rd, 2012, I had only seen the first episode or two of My Little Pony and had been living off of purely fan-created content, not feeling very immersed
but it was that week that I started to notice I was feeling different about all of this;
I've really gotten a lot more into this within the last week
so I sat down and began to watch every episode in large chunks, and in the wee hours of the morning on this day exactly one year ago I finished watching the entirety of season 1 -- feeling quite accomplished and very in love with the show -- so that I could nab the first episodes of season 2 before getting up early the following Saturday to watch an episode as it aired for the first time -- The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 -- with several of you
in other words, today marks the one year anniversary of me, from my point of view, truly joining this fandom
one year of complete and utter insanity
one year of constant arguing and borderline research
and yet I can't think of anyone I'd have rather spent all that time with
and it's only just begun

I also came across this on my journey, thought it was funny considering last week's episode
I would like more discord, :P
As would pretty much everyone, but there's no logical reason to bring him back (despite logic not being something Discord follows)
I mean think about it, there are basically two possible options:
A. Discord is somehow un-statued and terrorizes Equestria again and is stopped again by the Elements of Harmony, or
B. Discord is somehow un-statued and is suddenly a nice guy and he helps everypony combat some new antagonist (this is so ridiculous it shouldn't even be considered)
it also appears the 25th was the day cadance was somewhat confirmed, although her name was unknown
