There's magic powering the propeller, but whose magic is it? If it's no one's magic, then how does it continue powering itself with magic?
Magic generator.

Maybe some kind of device that can store magic like batteries can store electricity?

i've been rather curious about that myself
my guess is to imagine their world as covered in an invisible aura of magic, and they've somehow harnessed it for usage (which i guess yellow would be its color)

similar to chakra i suppose

I don't know if i'm supposed to dawwww or get creeped out by this.
help

that style is just too weird imo

like, it tries to be real but isn't quite there

i think it's nearing the bottom of the uncanny valley

More like fifty feet below the bottom of the uncanny valley. We should probably bury that atrocity there.

Yeah, it does seem pretty off.
I read up on the picture's description and it turns out the artist was experimenting with brush techniques in it.

This is the usual style he draws his pictures in.

I want to set that fur on fire.

fluff is cool but not to the point where it makes it look fat imo

i like the artist's style tho

I think I saw some theory somewhere that it was Celestia's magic (which was apparently yellow in one instance).

So, they treat magic as electricity?

That's actually quite cool. Hope we'll see more of it.

I got really lazy on this, I just really wanted to draw the hair.

I'm so sorry the rest of it was terrible.

Suddenly, Nikola Tesla is a pony.
Also I wonder since they aren't powering it with their own magic, are they using something else to power it like some sort of material?

well the hair does look good

so that worked
