i honestly hope at the end of the episode Twilight is established as an experienced enough unicorn who can BEGIN learning to create her own spells instead of just learning them
obviously i hope she is still training with Celestia (and dadgumit i want an episode on this), but it would be awesome if she has advanced to a position where we'll see many more interesting magic spells in Season Four
she should at least start heading in Starswirl's direction.
i'm betting you the princess title will just be honorary, and rarely ever used in Season Four, and the biggest difference is she'll be able to fly (making the ordeal pointless but she gains mobility out of it). i bet she won't even wear princess jewelry and whatnot during the new season and continue to be naked
