Oh lawdy, didnt think people would actually be interested in the details. In a shortened, summarized, laymans terms of the premise of my OC: The whole concept of him is to be a crucible of society, crafted from the earth and an ancient, magic heart, in the depths of the Everfree forest. He cant fly, or use magic. He know nothing of the pony world and has no moral standing, but knows basic language and logic. It's up to others to teach him, and show him how (or impress upon him) to be good or bad.

The eyes are hollow because he has no "soul" so to speak. I'd also like to mention that every aspect of character design has a symbolic meaning and/or personal influence.
