Don't be so hard on yourself blast, they look great!
when i surround myself with superior artwork, i find it hard to think my mediocre art is that good
but i'm not hard on myself, i'm just apathetically blunt
You can tell you've gotten better along the way.
yes, i can see some improvements and there are a few things i know i've improved on. this exercise was very beneficial regardless of how they looked like in the end
out of the twelve, my favorites were "Yummy!", "Games Ponies Actually Play" and "Destiny." i hate "Meditation" and "Pie Connoisseur" the most. i was unable to finish "Pinkie Spi" and "I Say, Friendship is Magic!" on time so i posted them uncompleted. the biggest difference between these drawings and the three digital paintings i did before Season Three was that i took roughly three days on the digital paints and less than 15 hours on each of these experimental pieces, a big time factor difference.
throughout the season, i can tell i kept a very sketchy-look. there is very little consistency on style (intentional), and my signatures are far too big on some of them lol. six out of twelve had a background. my eyes progressively got smaller (which i like them a bit smaller than the show does)
in the end, i never really figured out a style i liked. however i've started sketching heads in a particular method which the last two show off somewhat. i never really figured out how to properly color and shade. i have so many things to learn, i wish i was going to my art college this year D:
