looks like unicon was a disaster

they've got nowhere near the money they expected to pay for everything, but it's really their own fault for having a con at the start of hiatus in las vegas in february with only 60% of the people required to pay for everything saying they'd come

people are getting kicked out of their hotel rooms because they haven't been paid for yet and they're having an apparently very lame and embarrassing auction to raise money with the people who didn't already flee the scene

i dont understand why there seems to be so many cons going on all the time
just pick one and everyone go to that

hopefully this issue doesnt impact bronycon (as some say it might hurt future conventions)
i just want to do it once, be able to see some people, then not do it again

that's part of the problem

if you have too many cons people get bored of them

this is like the 5th or 6th con in the last year

They should just have a yearly BronyCon and that's it

and like loving everyone goes

every va and writer and producer and everything

and a stoning pit for hasbro executives

apparently unicon is $9k in debt

and a stoning pit for hasbro executives

it's funny how this still comes up even after the writers, musicians, actors and others have said that hasbro has given them more freedom than many of their past jobs
and that it's mostly ignorance-based hate

apparently unicon is $9k in debt

oh god do these people not know how to manage and project costs?
these guys have severely forgeted up

explanation (not really):

in debt, everyone (specifically team members) is having to pay out of pocket, (oh my god get to the loving point already), they dont want the other cons paying (metaphorically) for their dumb mistakes, money is mostly going to VAs and such, apparently this issue happened last night, (repeating ourselves repeating ourselves), yeah it wasn't much of an explanation
