i've determined that one of my main problems right now is not being able to sketch these characters in odd poses/certain angles that aren't generally seen in the show
i keep trying to play around with bones and such to try and set the angle, but i'm not getting anywhere

now if only i could find a guide-thing on that, i'll have to do some searching.
