There is a huge difference between a few shades from damp and light blue to a midnight blue. Hop on e621, I can't explain it any better without using pictures. It looks loving. Awful.

Anatomically correct on based on small, disfigured, mutated midget horses? What exactly are you basing your anatomy off of here? A fully grown horse? I've lived in the Southern US long enough to see the random horse junk. That stuff is the same color as the rest of it.
