Exactly. People who rely on gameplay reviews/videos will not buy games if they don't know about it. I would have never bought Amnesia, then Keo said it was a horror game. so I bought it.

So would the people who originally made the videos. They kinda have to buy the game to make said videos and they probably don't do it just for you. They can still buy the game and not make the videos.
Just because you and maybe like 5% of the population has to see it before you buy it, doesn't mean it's going to crash. And on top of that, the copyright owners themselves often make gameplay videos for everyone to see. And even if they don't, I'm sure sites like Gamespot can get permission to produce copyrighted material for you to watch. It's not always illegal for absolutely everyone. You can get a license to use copyrighted material, and the copyright owners definitely wont need permission to use their own work.
