building big cities =/= building the USA

because generaly all i see is circled areas indicating large cities and people assigned to making them
I'm addressing this first, because I need to clarify.
We will be doing big cities, but also will try to recreate small-town America. The spaces in-between the cities mentioned will have farms, mountains, towns, highways, and suburbs. Anyone can help with these, if people so desire. I know the USA isn't just big cities (and I know there are many cities) but the cities I've chosen to include offer a diversity and a taste of the many areas of the USA.
As for terrain, when I get someone to host; anyone can help with that. Terrain is one of the more important things to recreate. I am planning to do the Rocky's and the Appalachians in a cube-scape. Of course, the cities which are located in the mountains (Denver) will have to wait until the terrain is done. Which is why currently we will try to start on the coasts.
I will try to put all of you who have applied on teams. Check this topic for updates on the server.
Edit: I know many of you are disappointed that your city isn't mentioned, but that doesn't mean you can't represent it! If you sign up for a team near your town, you may be able to create your city in the areas not designated to any one team. This way many smaller, but no less important, cities can be replicated.
I think the map's outline is pretty accurate, but the main thing that needs to be changed is the Great Lakes. They are quite small on the current map, but don't worry this will most likely be changed.
Also, I'm thinking of adding Atlanta to Team Charlotte. If you agree to this decision, please post.
