Is there anyway to make it so the output from your computer is the input for while you're using xfire or steam voicechat?

Anyways, is the input volume turned up? Is it plugged in correctly?

I don't have a mic, I just want to use my computer's sounds as my the output in coice chat.

Well, I believe you have to have a specific sound card to do it.
And I'd use Audacity because changing the input should change it universaly across all programs, which you should change to 'Wave'.

Some guy told me you need realtek, so I looked it up and I have no idea what is what and what to download etc etc etc.

sigmatel audio: line in
sigmatel audio: microphone
modem #0 line record

well
1. press the red circle button (record)
2. listen to something
3. switch through each option
4. when something shows up on the channel keep it that way
and there you go

wow, this is loving stupid.
it won't let me stop recording and i can't change the input device while it's recording.
