Author Topic: kearn has a RAM problem!  (Read 2144 times)

i have x2 2 gb sticks of ram in my computer

sicne x86 can support up to 4 gb of ram, it should work correctly

windows realizes it has a potential of 4 gb but says only 2.5 are usable

i was doing a test on can you run it and noticed that my GPU has 1.5 GB of ram allocated, which is the same amount i'm missing

is my GPU allocating a massive amount of memory or is it just ironic

I think you need to download more RAM.

If you installed Windows XP 32-bit, it will only show you have around 2560MB of RAM, while you actually have 4096MB installed.
This is because the OS is outdated. Activating the /3GB switch in your boot.ini file should raise the limit to 3072MB.
