Author Topic: BrainBread - The new infamous Text Adventure  (Read 997 times)

Your name is Skylar Robinson. One day, specifically June Fourth, 2021, you woke to find yourself in the hellhole that is an apocalypse. The undead have risen, consuming all in their path. You are seventeen years old, and hoping to survive this. Otherwise.. your brain.. will be the bread of the zombie's feast!

Your equipment is:

A small first aid kit, with five uses. (45 health per use).

Two butterfly knives (5 damage + 5 damage = 10 damage, quick attacks)

Handgun (40 damage, nearly instant kill if aimed right, 4 magazines)

Holster.

You are currently in your house, sitting upstairs as the lights above you shake.

On your desk, there is a pair of butterfly knifes, one looking a bit rusty, and your old Macintosh Computer, from 2014.

On your bed is your pillow and comforter, your pillow missing the pillowcase, which you never used.
Your door is blocked by your computer chair, which is wedged under the knob. Your window is closed and locked, and your fan is on LOW.

What do, Skylar?

--The Additional OOC stuff.--

Commands must be set with >. For instance, >SKYLAR looks in the drawer.

Skylar has a reputation stat, which if you do something cruel, drops to evil, changing his personality DRASTICALLY.

You do have a weight system.

Skylar's appearance follows: A white t-shirt, denim jeans, black sneakers, a dark blue backpack with 3 zipped close holes.

He currently has no wounds.

His parents, Angela and Markus Robinson are currently dead, the first two infected he had to kill. The infection was caused by a serum known as Brainlurker, a serum which caused a disease to turn someone into a zombie. It became worse when a foolish person dropped the serum into the grass, the syringe shattering, the ground absorbing it.

Isn't BrainBread a mod?

>Grab the butterfly knifes, and turn on the computer
assuming you have power for a fan, you could try to send out a distress signal from the computer

Skylar grabs the butterfly knives, and attempts to turn on the computer. When it's half-way done booting up, it appears the power goes out. He scavenges through his drawers, finding a flashlight!

Luckily, it's a solar-light, and it's morning. The sun starts to go up weakly.

Skylar takes the wisened action of pulling the chair away and heading out on a scavenging mission.

One notice:

Automatic movements may be used to keep the story going, if I see it fit.

Skylar looks around the area, not finding so much that's helpful, but a gunshop in sight. He dashed over, bashing open the window. There were no zombies, and no survivors. He closed the door. There weren't many guns, Only one or two SMGs, a simple WW1-WW2 rifle, and a nice amount of ammo. The place wasn't that small, enough room for atleast 20 survivors, including Skylar. Creating a barricade out of some of the shelves, Skylar constructed himself a Safehouse. Looking around, he'd found a bit of food, atleast 11 cans of soup and beans. In a fridge, he found some soda and ham. He looked on a shelf or two, finding some bread.

It was a greatly decent find. He sat with his back to the wall, wondering what he should work on doing next.
