Author Topic: Blockland spotted on geek.com  (Read 3605 times)

Yeah, blockland came first, but who gives a stuff? He didn't say that blockland was a copy or anything, just a game like minecraft. You guys just need to settle down.

He said Blockland is like Minecraft.

BUT BUT BUT

Since Blockland came first, Minecraft is like Blockland.

I lol'd at how he said that we don't have to mine for our materials.

I saw this a couple days ago.

What the forget is the appeal of Minecraft? I thought it was awesome stuff for the first few weeks I had but every time I start it up I have to stop from the crushing boredom of the whole experience. The game is a loving mess, with terrible, annoying combat, creepers that pull richard moves and no motivation to do anything at all. Seriously, every one of those games mentioned there is a lot better than Minecraft (that $1 xbox shizz doesn't have buggy-ass multiplayer either) and each deserve a lot more recognition than that perpetually-in-beta piece of stuff. I mean, I got bored of Terraria, but they update it frequently enough and with enough content to make it worth playing again, but with Minecraft you may get one or two new items every three weeks accompanied by all of your mods breaking and a hundred new bugs to deal with.

...and the Blockland comparison? What the forget is that? Minecraft should be illegal, and all works relating to Minecraft burned in a glorious bonfire.

...and inspire them to do more than just mine materials and build things. In fact, you won’t do much mining in Blockland, you’ll spend most of your time playing with blocks...

I'm pretty sure we don't mine in Blockland...

Blockland looks a bit like what would happen if Lego decided to make a Minecraft game.

.....

Geek.com We`ve never played Blockland at all but since were comparing it to Minecraft lets say it has mining!

>Google Blockland is like minecraft
>Laugh/rage at results

I lol'd at how he said that we don't have to mine for our materials.
No, he says we don't have to do much mining.
>implying we have to do any mining at all

Fred is a prime example of why 9 year olds should not be allowed on the internet

This is kinda neat.

I'm going to lurk on this here website, and find other fails such as this. I haven't played Minecraft, but I have played a Minecraft server. Why is there a Minecraft server if the entire game is similar to Minecraft? Sort of redundant, don't you think?

EDIT: I saw in the comments for this little page this topic is about that quote "Blockland is nothing like Minecraft. You might as well compare Runescape to Club Penguin."

this site said the following games were like club penguin:

-gaia online (okay this is understandable)
-runescape (...?)
-spiral knights (have you even played spiral knights?!)

disregarding anything and everything that this site has to say. clearly they don't play the games.. they only look at them.
Wait, Spiral Knights?
ALRIGHT WHAT THE FU-
